FinTech Futures Jobs: Companies offering the most in demand fintech jobs
Fintech is in rude health, according to a recent Global Fintech Talent Report. The report notes that worldwide, the sector has seen a meteoric rise in investments, new companies and innovative products over the past ten years.
Data from Statista indicates that total investments worldwide in the industry rose from around £7 billion in 2010 to a high of £172 billion in 2019.
In the UK, the picture is equally robust. As a global fintech hub, activity is extremely strong, with more than £3.2 billion in venture capital transactions and 1,565 active fintech firms, including Freetrade, Revolut, Nexo and Azimo.
With a 136% year-on-year rise in the number of jobs in the sector, a few roles have emerged as the most in demand, and they are:
- Product management (IT)
- Software engineering
- UI and UX design/ development
- Information security
- Customer success
- Business analysis
