Indonesia’s Bank INA taps Mambu for cloud banking services
PT Bank INA Perdana Tbk (Bank INA), part of Indonesian conglomerate the Salim Group, has selected Mambu’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud banking platform as the foundation for its new digital banking services.
The move is part of Bank INA’s pivot to digital in an effort to “complement the vast financial and payment digitalisation within Salim Group’s ecosystem”.
The bank hopes the move to digital banking services will broaden financial inclusion in the country.
Yulius Purnama Junaedi, digital banking director at Bank INA, says: “Our purpose is to create a digital bank where we can empower the lives of many micro and small medium enterprises in Indonesia.”
Bank INA’s president director Daniel Budirahayu adds: “As we transition into a digital bank, we have been very focused on ensuring we have the right systems and infrastructure in place to guarantee optimal experience and security for our customers.”
Mambu APAC managing director Myles Bertrand claims Mambu’s “composable architecture approach” will give Bank INA flexibility in building out its digital offering.
Mambu has been busy in recent months with several financial institutions adopting its digital banking services.
In July, Australian non-bank lender Bluestone went live with a new digital lending platform from Mambu.
