Omni chooses TruNarrative to combat financial crime
Omni Capital Retail Finance has chosen TruNarrative to provide real-time financial crime detection and prevention technology, reports Jane Connolly.
The point-of-sale (POS) consumer credit company was seeking a future-proofed solution that would enable real-time decisions and changes without the need for internal IT or third-party resources. It also needed to provide a high degree of configurability to reduce false positives and create a frictionless onboarding process.
TruNarrative’s service has been built through configuration in natural language against Omni’s own data and allows Omni to access multiple third-party services via the same API.
“We are excited to be working with TruNarrative,” says Paul Hirst, head of risk at Omni. “The TruNarrative platform will enable us to offer greater protection to our customers from the risk of financial crime whilst still ensuring a seamless and simple customer journey.”
The solution provides potential future interdepartmental functionality across the areas of fraud, identity and compliance, so Omni will be able to add new services in the future.
