Mobiquity hires former BNP Paribas COO Howard Moore
Digital services firm Mobiquity has hired former BNP Paribas chief operation officer Howard Moore to spearhead a global expansion strategy.
Moore arrives at Mobiquity as the firm’s new senior director for digital banking. He is tasked with “enhancing and accelerating” digital banking initiatives for its financial services clients.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector, with his time at BNP Paribas coming between 2006 and 2016.
While at the French banking group, he led its exposure management in Tokyo, spent four years as head of credit risk control in EMEA, and left as business manager for corporate debt in EMEA.
Moore has also spent time at Lehman Brothers, Zoopla, and the Oriel Group.
Founded in 2011, Mobiquity styles itself as a digital transformation firm. It says it combines “the best of human-focused design and data-driven technology”.
The firm claims to operate across five continents and nine offices, with more than 800 employees.
“I’m excited to join a hyper growth company, as the need for digital banking services is booming during the pandemic,” says Moore.
“Throughout my career I have always tried to help make complicated things simple, by looking at ways to optimise processes and systems.
“I look forward to bringing this experience to digital banking initiatives and helping Mobiquity’s clients remove business frictions.”
Matthew Williamson, vice president of global services at Mobiquity, says the appointment demonstrates his firm’s “rapid growth”.
He adds: “Howard has an impressive track record of financial leadership and his expertise will strengthen our global footprint in banking and financial services.”
