Eilin Schjetne joins EedenBull as its new CEO
With more than 20 years of banking and payments experience, Schjetne joins EedenBull from digital bank Lunar, where she served as general manager. Prior to that, she served as product director at Visa for the Nordic and Baltic region, working on Visa’s global team for real time payments and open banking as partnership lead for Europe.
Schjetne has also held leadership positions at DNB ASA, the largest bank in Norway, in product and business development in the corporate payment and cash management solutions division.
EedenBull’s founder and former CEO Nicki Bisgaard will return to the PayTech Group, a payments advisory company he founded over 20 years ago. Bisgaard will act as a special advisor to EedenBull, focusing on business development globally.
As CEO, Schjetne aims to scale the company and raise funding in an effort to make EedenBull Norway’s first fintech unicorn.
Founded in 2018, EedenBull operates a spend management platform distributed via more than 60 banks in the Nordics and Australia, catering to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), providing them with real-time visibility and control over expenses.
