MSB chooses SunTec to deliver customer-centric services
Vietnam’s MSB (formerly Maritime Bank) has chosen SunTec Xelerate to power the rollout of its customer centricity system, reports Jane Connolly.
The customer orchestration company has enabled MSB to automatically segment its retail banking customers, offering personalised offers in real-time and management of relationship-based pricing up to the customer level.
MSB is already using the system to automatically calculate transaction fees, removing the need for bank tellers to work out fees manually.
The bank can also create customised offers, such as its successful M-Saving product – this provides preferential interest rates of up to 8.9% for customers with online savings and a current account savings account (Casa) with MSB.
“SunTec has helped accelerate our digital transformation journey, and Xelerate’s functionalities enables us to significantly improve the quality of engagement with our customers,” says MSB CEO, Quang Huynh Buu.
He adds: “automating our customer offerings and processes gives us the much-needed flexibility to provide multiple product options to customers, which in turn gives us the edge over other banks.”
SunTec CEO and co-founder, Nanda Kumar, says that the implementation is a mighty leap towards driving enrichment in digital banking.
