The client

They are investing millions in this new cutting edge tech practice that is looking to create, innovate, build and distribute Greenfield product solutions. The role
You'd be working alongside the keenest minds in big data, data science, engineering and design to bring to life bold ideas for a fascinating array of clients that are at the forefront of change in markets and economies all over the world.
You will be working in a supported, vibrant eco-system that is resource rich and enabling growth and progress on a scale you will not find anywhere else. Furthermore, you'll be able to work with the latest technologies – having the best of both worlds – working in finance but in a tech start-up (WeWork!) type environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create Microservices in Java a& JVM languages – Scala, Clojure, Kotlin
- Read/write data in SQL, NoSQL, S3, Kafta
- Produce fast, reliable scalable systems
Experience required
- A strong understanding of Java (8) and its latest features such as streams and lambda expressions
- Interest in creating microservice over REST
- You understand how to use data systems
- You want to learn and apply JVM languages
- You are a team player, adaptable and resourceful
