Fantastic opportunity for a BI & Data Analyst with experience of data modelling, BI reporting, data analytics and dashboards to join PA’s managed service team working on-site a prestigious government department.

As our Reporting and Analytics Analyst, you will:
• Build frameworks for reporting data, providing in-depth analysis or modelling data to provide insight.
• Create standard reports but also support the development of bespoke reports and dashboards using Tableau and other tools.
• Work closely with the Reporting and Analytics teams to precisely define data requirements to enable you to analyse data and develop reporting dashboards for the client.
• Understand the database systems in use and know how to manipulate data and generate insight and information to meet requirements for ad-hoc requests from clients, managers, and staff.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis that helps in understanding business and performance trends. Interpret the results and weave insightful stories to stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain and the Business Intelligence tool (Tableau).

Job Requirements
What are we looking for?
• Degree qualified, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards with Tableau is highly desirable for this position.
• Experience with SQL and Python programming languages would be desirable.
• Experience of working in business intelligence (BI) and analytical projects in consulting or industry.
• Some experience of conducting analysis for evidence-based decision making, developing models and decision support tools.
• Keen interest in data analytics, with a desire to build related technical skills.
• Team player with flexible and adaptable approach to work, and a motivated self-starter.
• Excellent organisational skills, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
