The firm says it plans to use its new licence to “scale its operations and build on its success in Europe”, where it recorded turnover of €65 million in 2024, up from €50 million the year prior.
This proposed growth includes initiatives to double its London-based workforce by the end of 2025, while CEO Pierre-Antoine Dusoulier, who founded iBanFirst in 2016, has now also relocated to the city to “spearhead the company’s next development phase”.
Dusoulier is being supported by UK country manager and director Vivek Savani, who joined the firm through its acquisition of foreign exchange (FX) provider Cornhill International Payments in 2022.
iBanFirst’s platform currently supports over 10,000 clients with managing, collecting and sending funds to 180+ countries worldwide, while also enabling the creation of custom FX strategies.
Backed by Elaia, Bpifrance and Marlin Equity Partners, among others, and processing £1.7 billion per month, the company is now targeting revenue growth “of over 25%” in 2025.
