Azura Credit Union has selected Symitar, the core processing system of US-based vendor Jack Henry, to “deliver modern services to local communities and drive future growth”.

Azura Credit Union selects Jack Henry’s Symitar platform
Jack Henry says the open technology platform will enable Azura to “stay innovative with data and AI strategies”, while also enabling its 12 branches throughout Northeast Kansas to “enhance operational efficiencies and gain deeper insights into the unique needs of their communities”.
These branches support the 62,000 members currently served by the credit union, which was founded in 1939 and boasts assets in excess of $822 million.
Azura CEO Greg Winkler says the integration with Jack Henry will “position us for growth both now and in the future”, providing the credit union with a “variety of tools that will help us differentiate and compete”.
Symitar is designed specifically for credit unions, offering integrated solutions for managing operations, member services and financial transactions. The core processing platform is currently used by over 700 clients, including Credit Union 1, the second-largest credit union in Alaska.
