CTBC Bank Philippines taps Hitachi Asia to upgrade its digital corporate banking platform
CTBC Bank Philippines, a regional subsidiary of Taiwan-headquartered CTBC Bank, has launched an upgraded version of its Corporate NETBanking Web Portal through an expanded collaboration with Hitachi Asia.

CTBC Bank Philippines debuts new digital corporate banking portal with Hitachi Asia
Redesigned to accommodate business customers “of all sizes”, the bank says the revamped portal’s key functionalities include real-time account management features, bulk transaction processing capabilities, and customisable approval workflows to ensure compliance with corporate policies.
The platform has been built with Hitachi Asia to support the full breadth of the bank’s corporate banking services, which span credit facilities, corporate loans, and deposits, as well as cash management, treasury, trade, payment, and remittance services.
The bank adds that the new platform also provides “access to a wide range of payment channels for local and global transactions”, such as InstaPay, PesoNet, BancNet, RTGS, and Swift, among others.
This next generation of the Corporate NETBanking Web Portal is the result of the bank’s continued collaboration with Hitachi Asia, which serves clients across Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam as a division of Japan’s Hitachi group.
The pair initially joined forces in May last year to revamp CTBC Bank Philippines’ retail-facing web interface and mobile banking applications.
In the time since, the CTBC group also completed a three-year implementation of Avaloq’s core banking system across its private banking businesses in Singapore and Hong Kong in July.
