In his new role, Target says Hill will be responsible for the company’s “entire IT strategy” and “ensuring the business can meet the demands of its customers in all sectors,” with Target serving the financial services, telecoms, public sector, and utilities industries.
Founded in 1979, Target offers services including collections management, mortgages, device finance, and investment and loan solutions. The firm claims its fintech platform manages over £11 billion in assets, while its systems process over 19 million accounts and handle £3 billion of direct debit payments annually.
Hill brings over 25 years of experience working in the IT sector, overseeing “global strategies, business change initiatives and multi-million pound digital transformation projects for both national and international brands”, Target says.
He joins Target from beverage manufacturer Diageo, where he spent over a year as global head of website transformation strategy. Prior to that, he served as global strategy and delivery director at Kaplan and held several leadership roles at Accenture and Circle.
Hill is the latest in a series of senior leadership additions at Target, following Uday Bola’s appointment as head of solution design in September.
