Germany’s Metzler partners Unique to streamline operational workflows with AI
German private bank Metzler has partnered with Swiss software start-up Unique for its AI-powered solutions as it looks to utilise the technology to streamline workflows and boost productivity.

Metzler partners Unique for AI tech
Unique says that Metzler, Germany’s second oldest bank founded in 1674, will use its AI tech to enhance “decision-making processes, client engagement, and overall operational efficiency”.
Through the partnership, the bank has deployed a new GenAI platform, MetzlerGPT, which Unique says leverages large language models to provide “comprehensive data-driven insights to all 800 Metzler employees, streamline client work, and automate routine tasks”.
Metzler’s head of innovation, Marco Di Sazio, says that the “productivity gains and improved workflow through AI assistance will significantly benefit our operations”.
Based in Frankfurt, Metzler offers individual capital market services for both institutions and private clients in the business areas of asset management, capital markets, corporate finance and private banking.
Financial services firms across the world are looking to maximise efficiency by leveraging the latest AI tech. Notable examples include BNP Paribas’ commercial partnership with Mistral AI, CaixaBank forming a GenAI task force with Microsoft, Accenture and Banco BPI, and Franklin Templeton’s bid to build a financial AI platform using Microsoft’s Azure AI service suite.
