Alabama’s Community Spirit Bank selects CSI’s NuPoint core banking system
Alabama-based Community Spirit Bank (CSB) has selected the NuPoint core banking platform provided by US banking tech vendor Computer Services Inc (CSI).
CSB, which has five branches throughout northwest Alabama and northeast Mississippi, caters to both retail and business customers.
CSI says the NuPoint core platform will consolidate CSB’s banking technology into a single platform that will enhance customers’ banking experience, unify customer channels, streamline vendor management and improve back-office operations. The vendor will also provide interactive ATMs.
CSB president and CEO Brad Bolton says: “As we advance our technology to meet the needs of our community, it is important that we do so with a provider whose values align with ours.”
CSI enterprise banking group president Giovanni Mastronardi adds: “By partnering with us for integrated technologies, Community Spirit Bank will eliminate the complexities of an in-house model and enable employees to focus on the business of banking.”
Last month, Cypress Bank & Trust, a start-up bank in Florida, also selected the NuPoint core banking platform as it looks to expand into cloud-based digital banking services.
