Biller launches new AI-powered BNPL invoicing solution
Fintech start-up Biller has launched a new buy now, pay later (BNPL) invoicing solution for B2B purchasing.
Amsterdam-based Biller has been founded by a team of former Mollie and Klarna senior managers Derek Vreeburg, Uwe van Rensburg and Mick Gromotka, with the assistance of Dutch artificial intelligence (AI) B2B venture firm Slimmer AI.
JC Heyneke, CEO of Slimmer AI, says: “We are convinced that machine learning will reshape the way credit risk assessment in B2B is done, and that this is needed to evolve B2B ecommerce.”
Biller claims its AI-powered payments product helps businesses reduce risk and optimise cash flow to streamline the payments process and “future proof” B2B invoicing.
It provides real-time credit and fraud checks, flexible payment terms, personalised debtor management and guaranteed payouts.
Biller co-founder and CEO Derek Vreeburg says current B2B invoice solutions “have lacked innovation for years” and his company will look to “transform complex processes into easy-to-use services”.
In the B2B space, US fintech Behalf recently secured $19 million in venture funding and up to $100 million in debt financing as it looks to boost its e-commerce financing solutions.
Behalf offers in-purchase B2B financing solutions such as BNPL capabilities for US e-commerce businesses.
