ANZ internet banking goes dead
Australia and New Zealand-based banking group, ANZ, had its internet banking service go down for eight hours today (29 January).
It said it was “experiencing intermittent issues with ANZ Internet Banking” and “if you are having trouble accessing the site in the meantime please refer to goMoney or our Grow app”.
Users on Twitter vented their frustration and claimed goMoney wasn’t working as well, but the bank responded that this was not the case.
At 10.57am (GMT) today, the issue was resolved.
At present, ANZ has not given any reasons as to why the outage occurred.
